For the second consecutive year, Comporta will host a project dedicated to artistic expression and cultural dialogue, bringing together a network of partner galleries and institutions, including THIS IS NOT A WHITE CUBE. Bringing together artists from Mexico, Brazil and Portugal, the exhibition explores the relationships between matter, time, the body and memory. Presented across several venues in Comporta, Carvalhal and Melides, the project fosters dialogue between diverse artistic practices, geographies and architectural contexts.
The exhibition features works by Expanded Eye, António Faria, Susana Cereja and Vanessa Barragão. It opens on July 24th at Centro Comporta, followed by inaugurations on July 25th at Circular Gallery and A Moagem, inviting visitors to explore its different exhibition venues across the region.
On view until 6 September.
