"Dez Cantos Abertos": on exhibition in Central das Artes, in Porto de Mós until September 30

The group exhibition features the artworks of António Faria, Cássio Markowski, Cristiano Mangovo, Francisco Vidal and René Tavares
Integrated in the celebrations of the 500 years of Camões' birth, the exhibition Dez Cantos Abertos proposes a contemporary reading of the portuguese poet's seminal work, bringing together artists and writers from across the Lusophone world in a dialogue between word, image, and memory. Among the participating artists are Cristiano Mangovo, René Tavares, Francisco Vidal, António Faria and Cássio Markowski, with the latter two having participated in the artistic residency that antecipated the exhibition.

Opened on May 15 at Central das Artes, in Porto de Mós, the exhibition is presented in collaboration with the newspaper Público and the publishing house Bela e o Monstro. The Municipality of Porto de Mós also promoted the programme of open artistic residencies, with the resulting artworks being presented as part of the collective show.

On view until September 30.
