Eduardo Malé São Tomé & Príncipe, 1973

Présentation
Eduardo Malé began his artistic journey in the mid-1990s as a self-taught artist, exploring the world of visual expression and experimenting across various disciplines. His formal artistic education in Lisbon and Caldas da Rainha (Portugal) provided him with the technical and conceptual foundation to later develop distinctive works of painting and sculpture that offer a personal reflection on contemporary society over recent decades.

He also ventured into the field of animated film, notably with the creation of the project Cinemação — a series of television ads addressing HIV/AIDS — produced in collaboration with the National Program to Fight AIDS, the School of Art and Design of Caldas da Rainha, RTP África, and UNICEF.

Malé returned to Africa in 2009. Driven by a sense of urgency to contribute culturally to his country, he became a mentor, producer, and promoter of numerous artistic and cultural initiatives.
