THIS IS NOT A WHITE CUBE gallery presents on January 27th, in Luanda, the group exhibition: “Pocket Universes: The Politics of (Im) Possibilities”.
Curated by Jamil “Parasol” Osmar, the exhibition includes mostly unpublished works, through which a reflection on the notion of human interaction is proposed. In particular, it explores the moments of connection and collision generated from these encounters intrinsic to the human experience.
With pieces by Pedro Pires, Rómulo Santa Rita, Luís Damião, Benigno Nsito, Mariana Dias Coutinho, Stephané E. Conradie, Uolofe, Sapate, Mumpasi Meso and Osvaldo Ferreira, this exhibition marks the opening of the annual program of the gallery in Angola.
