FNB Joburg Art Fair 2018: Group Show: Ana Silva, Cristiano Mangovo, Januário Jano, and Nelo Teixeira

Johannesburg, South Africa, 6 - 9 September 2018 
The Gallery This Is Not The White Cube (TINAWC) will be presented for the first time in the 11th Edition of the FNB Joburg Art Fair, with the exclusive representation of four Angolan artists – Ana Silva, Cristiano Mangovo, Januário Jano and Nelo Teixeira – in which is considered to be the largest international contemporary art exhibition on the African continent, to be held in Johannesburg from 7-9 September 2018 at the Sandton Convention Center, curated by South African Amy Ellenbogen.
 
In the 2018 edition Angolan artists Ana Silva and Cristiano Mangovo are among the nominees for Africa’s Most Influential New Artistic Talent. Votes are made on the fair’s website and the winner will be announced at the end of the fair.
 
The FNB Joburg Art Fair is the main art fair on the African continent and plays a crucial role in supporting and promoting contemporary art in Africa and its diaspora. The exhibition is a privileged meeting place for the main international galleries, artists, collectors, thinkers and art lovers, who gather in the event with the aim of reinforcing the dissemination and investment in contemporary African art.
