MUSAMBIQUE: Manuela Pimentel and Jas

Camões - Portuguese Cultural Center in Maputo presents the exhibition MUSAMBIQUE, a group show by the Portuguese artists Manuela Pimentel and João Alexandrino (Jas). This exhibition results from an artistic residency organized with the two artists in May 2019 in Maputo and Mozambique Island. Since then, Manuela Pimentel & JAS have been working on original works inspired by Mozambique, which they now present in Maputo, in the renovated space of Camões - Portuguese Cultural Center.

The exhibition has the support of THIS IS NOT A WHITE CUBE Art Gallery and special participation of the poet, playwright, and translator Daniel Jonas.
