THIS IS NOT A WHITE CUBE est une galerie d’art contemporaine internationale, établie à Lisbonne (Portugal). Représentant et collaborant avec des artistes internationaux, tant établis qu’émergents, son programme artistique s’articule autour de récits et de débats majeurs liés au continent africain et à sa diaspora.
Bien que profondément ancrée dans la réalité africaine, elle constitue la première galerie d’art contemporaine africaine au Portugal à dépasser le seul cadre lusophone, en s’ouvrant également aux esthétiques émergentes issues des productions culturelles et artistiques du Sud global.
La galerie maintient par ailleurs une présence constante et remarquée dans les grandes foires internationales d’art.
