Bev Butkow South Africa, b. 1967
Bev Butkow is a South African artist who transgresses the boundaries between textile, painting, sculpture, and installation through instinctive and make-shift experimentation. In the same year, she exhibited at the Dakar Biennale, Senegal, in the curated Tomorrows/Today section of the Investec Cape Town Art Fair, and presented her work at Contextile Bienal TextileTALKS, Portugal.
